The Coach House

It is a testament to us that many of our guests return year on year to Crogen. Set within the grounds of the Estate, the Coach House comfortably sleeps 16 (cots available). With it’s magnificent family kitchen, complete with Aga and wood burning stove, an elegant dining room, grand (but cosy!) drawing room and separate playroom (with table tennis!) it’s understandable why our guests are reluctant to leave. Whilst is has it’s own pretty south facing veranda and private walled garden, guests may roam through the rest of the Estate at their leisure.

With 2 king size bedrooms (both with en-suite), 1 king size bedroom with wash basin, 2 double bedrooms and 3 twin bedrooms (one with en-suite), plus 2 further family bathrooms, the Coach House gives everyone plenty of space.

What sets Crogen apart from other properties is the personal touch. From fresh flowers in the drawing room to bring your own pony - there’s not much the Coach House cannot accommodate. We are happy to pre-book any activities that we have on offer, perhaps a private tennis lesson, fishing or clay pigeon shoot - just let us know in advance and everything will be waiting for you on your arrival.

Those guests spending Christmas with us do not need to worry - our home grown Christmas tree will be in pride of place - please feel free to bring your own decorations for that extra festive touch.

Pretty individual rooms are also available in the main residence of the Estate, sleeping a further 10 adults. The family run superb B&B within the Estate is also available to sleep 6 adults, all within a few minutes walk from each other.
